All of our clothing and accessories are made-to-order by Lady Faie.  Her attention to detail and quality is foremost and that takes time.  Elaborate custom designs involve a lot of devotion to create the outcome you expect and deserve.

On occasion she creates something unique and new that we offer for sale and will be displayed on our  Boutique page.  These items are finished and ready-to-ship within 2-3 days.  Some items may be altered or re-dyed which may take additional time to complete, but reduces the lead time tremendously.

Painted Lady strives to have 25 Yard Petticoats skirts ready for sizing and color, however, popular demand burns through what Lady Faie has on the shelves often faster than she is able to sew them.  When these are available, they will be posted on our Boutique page.

​Lead Time & Delivery

We ship worldwide. You are responsible for taxes, tariffs, or fees required by International shipments. We are not responsible for delays or lost packages in transit. You may request insurance and pay the fees for the value of the package. Shipping fees charged at time of order is estimated and may change.

Delivery date depends greatly on the size and complexity of the order. All estimates for ship date are subject to change. Most orders are expected to ship within 3-4 
weeks. Some can take 8-12 weeks. The most complex or larger orders can take as much as 6 months or more.  PLEASE, PLAN AHEAD!

If you need your items quickly for a specific date or occasion, please start early! Three to six months is recommended!  We are in high demand and new orders are limited.

Please allow enough time for research, development and design, acquisition and production. This may take 90 days or more depending on the complexity and materials. More elaborate items may take much longer.

​Sizing & Custom Design

Please refer to the Sizing Chart for best results. We are not responsible for measurement errors submitted by you. If you are unsure of your measurements, please contact us and provide the measurements you took as well as commercial dress size you typically wear. Front, back and side photos of you in form-fitting clothing (bathing suit is perfect) so we can assess your specific needs.

When production has begun, only minimal changes may be made and only if those changes are not on completed portions of the item.

Cancellation or Returns

All custom orders and those finished to customer specifications are non-refundable, with few exceptions.

All items are photographed prior to shipping for your approval.  If you do not approve, we may make adjustments or remake the item to your satisfaction, within reason and per original request.  Once approved, your item is non-returnable and non-refundable with one exception...should it not fit properly.

Troupe & Wholesale Discounts
I am an artisan making original, unique and custom fashions for many venues. I work alone, and all of my products are made from scratch by me. I am unable to produce in mass quantities for resale. I cater to dancers, theatre, re-enactors and COSPLAYers and other artisans needing custom fabrics and notions for their projects.

I do offer a 10% troupe discounts for orders of three or more of the same item (color and sizes may vary) and must be over $300.  Orders over $1500 will be awarded a 15% discount.  Order over $3000 will be awarded a 20%.  Completion of larger orders will take more lead time create.  Please plan ahead!!!
If you are not satisfied with your item once you receive it,
you may ask to return the item/s 
and have them put up for sale on our website. 
Refunds will not be made until the item/s has sold. 
There may be a restocking fee.

Painted Lady is in high demand! And since nearly all of our fashions are made-to-order, we are only able to take on a limited number of orders each month.

To service our customers fairly, we have

In the message box, please include the following information:
  • ~Subject--Ordering Alert Subscription
  • ~About You--Troupe Order/Returning Customer/New Customer
  • ~Number of Pieces--ei: 1-2; 3-4; Troupe Order/5+ Pieces
  • ~Event Dates (if applicable)--no orders needed less that 30 days will be accepted
  • ~Tell us a little about you, your troupe (if applicable), and what you're wanting Lady Faie to create for you; be creative and send will aid in the review process.

When Lady Faie is ready to take a new order or a batch of similar orders, she will send out a​n email to everyone on the mailing list.  

The quickest responses will get the first priority for review.  

Within 48 hours of sending the email, Lady Faie will determine which orders she will be able to get onto her table and into the dye vats and contact the lucky client/s to finalize the details and send an invoice for payment.

Those who were passed up this round will get high priority on the next.  We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause some of her beloved clients, and she will do her best to get to everyone!
